Independent oxygen transfer testing rates ASI’s next generation, membrane as producing more available DO per horsepower than any product on the market today! ASI achieves between 6-8 Lbs of oxygen/HP/HR as measured by ANSI/ASCE 2-91. ASI guarantees 6.0 lbs of oxygen/HP/HR using our engineered system.

Installations are currently operating in the USA and several countries outside the US.

The ASI system uses a 304 stainless steel grid mounted with ASI’s truly porous membrane. A new generation membrane is the heart of the ASI system and contains thousands of labyrinth passages approximately 50 microns in size that are formed within the walls of the pipe.

Because of this engineering design ASI Membrane is foul resistant and manufactured to a strict 95 % uniformity. Our membrane offers little resistance to air pressure and requires no opening pressure to function (only .5psi) unlike other bladder type fine bubble aeration systems. As a result lower horsepower is needed to produce high DO levels. When compared to mechanical aeration devices the electrical energy savings is at least 50%.

Systems may be floor, float or wall mounted. They may be mounted at any depth and situated to cover “dead spots” or interact with a sludge blanket to reduce organic sludge buildup or provide additional DO at chlorine chambers or discharge points. ASI systems require no additional ballast in ordinary applications and are easy removable for maintenance, draining of basins, etc. Our system pulls more water past the membrane area, assuring more DO delivery. It may be set at the “right” level to achieve maximum results either in fine bubble, coarse bubble or mixing format depending on the air flow (CFM) used.
